Institutional Assessment Infrastructure

Build assessment structures. Turn results into program-level insight.

RubricPort helps colleges and departments collaboratively maintain assessment structures, build and revise rubrics, align criteria and optional standards, validate mappings, generate approved outputs, analyze assessment results, and package reports by program and reporting period.

A living Crosswalk—not a one-time form

Maintain the institutional Crosswalk as a shared Google Sheet so authorized faculty and program leaders can collaborate on one source of truth.

Collaborate

Multiple faculty can review and update programs, assessments, course IDs, criteria/competencies, performance descriptions, and optional standards in a shared Google Sheet.

Approve & Re-import

When changes are approved, download the revised Google Sheet as Excel and re-import it into RubricPort.

Regenerate What Changed

Use the refreshed Crosswalk to regenerate affected materials and focus RubricPort review/editing on the updated items rather than manually rebuilding every rubric.

Build it once. Maintain it collaboratively. Regenerate when needed.

Program-level reporting with safeguards

Distinct Student n

Program-level analysis keeps distinct students separate from rubric-rating counts and calculates performance distributions within the applicable program.

Crosswalk-Based Program Match

Assessment names do not need to contain the program name. RubricPort uses the imported Crosswalk relationship to assign programs.

Ambiguity Protection

If an assessment maps to multiple programs, RubricPort requires administrator review and blocks Program Report Package generation until the assignment is resolved.

Excel, narrative, criteria and standards analysis

  • Distinct Student n and program means
  • Novice, Developing, Proficient and Advanced distributions
  • Assessment/rubric performance
  • Criteria/competency performance with criterion codes
  • Standards by assessment/rubric and consolidated by program
  • Executive narrative reporting and review-threshold findings

Program Report Package

Generate separate Excel Analysis and Narrative files for each resolved matched program, organized by Report Period / Term → Program.

Packages are ready for institutional review and manual SharePoint or other approved repository upload. Direct SharePoint publishing is a separately scoped integration.

Start with a department. Scale to a college.

RubricPort can be licensed to a defined department or academic unit, a college/school with multiple departments, or a high-volume institution-wide deployment.
